Our family consists of myself, my husband and our 13 year old son David. Our animal family consists of our wonderful dogues Olympia, Kat, Max, Nadia, and Roxy. We live in the Northwest corner of Connecticut in a small town that is mainly protected state forest. Our home is on 8 beautiful, private acres that allows us to give our animals plenty of space.

I first fell in love with the Dogue De Bordeaux when I saw Turner and Hooch. I told myself one day I would have one of those dogs. In 2004, when I felt the time was right I bought a male pup from a local person. Budkis was awesome and I was hooked. My husband and I had dogs all our lives, but none like the amazing Bordeaux. Tragically Budkis was hit and killed by a car in Nov. 2006. Our family was heart broken as we lost a member of our family. Although, we missed him dearly I continued my research for a female pup from a quality breeder, with hopes to show and possibly breed her. Finally, in March of 2007 we imported Olympia, a female pup from Kennel z Vlckovskeho Mlyna of Slovakia.  We hope that Olympia will become the foundation for our breeding program. She will be shown and health tested prior to breeding. We are thankful to Tatiana and Adrian Retzrova for the opportunity to have this wonderful girl.  

The Dogue De Bordeaux population is  small in comparison to many other breeds. The quality of many large breeds have been destroyed in the hands of the wrong people. Breeders have the responsibilty to the Bordeaux's future path . With health testing, quality breeding and responsible placement the DDB can have a positive future.  It would be terrible to see the quality of the Dogue De Bordeaux deteriorate.
